2013 CNY trip
Just got back from Penang and my cny trip was over already. Home sweet home at last. Time for some flashbacks of the trip~On cny's eve, my cousins came to my aunt's house for reunion and i was pretty happy as i only got to see them a few times in a year, received red packets from the elder ones. Had lunch with them and we really had a great time. Then it was time for me and family back to dad's hometown - Perak. We had our reunion dinner at grandparents' home after we arrived. I gotta admit that grandma's dishes are the best!! How i wish i still could have some.. Went to grandparents' home again on the first day of cny, got red packets too from my aunts and uncles, almost everyone wore red clothes thank god i wore red too hahaha. Had some good time with my relatives and bade them goodbye and off to Penang. We stayed in Eastin Hotel for two days, what's so good bout it was that this hotel is located near Queensbay mall and we didnt even need to drive to there!! Too convenient or what? Watched two cny movies, Once upon a time and Journey to the west, and both were so funny. We went to Guan Yin temple which was super crowded and also suffering because of the smoke in there. FUUU i hate the smoke. Then we were just strolling around the area, saw many tourists from China and white people. It was so hot that day so we didnt stay long and headed back to Queensbay to shop and eat. Here are some pics i took at the streets of Penang.    |
